Nokia X7-00 has come as an improvement of the exiting X6-00 which was the first of the touch screen Nokia phones with a capacitative screen. One notable thing though is that this phone is already on the Symbian Anna qualities even before the incorporation of the OS that enhances functionality. With this phone’s packaging and features, you realize that Nokia is leaning towards minimalistic features, for instance the box. In its really small box, there are manuals, a USB charger, headphones and data cable plus other items. Looking at the design of this phone, there has been notable experimentation as displayed by some very nice curves. The Symbian Anna platform on this phone gives a clear edge over competitors such as Android by making the user interface not only provide the renown Symbian Anna features, but also introduce the classy split-screen QWERTY. Furthermore, the browsing experience has been improved by the introduction of a new browser, the entertainment is all round and the management of data is superb.

Final Words:

Generally, Symbian Anna has given considerable boost to the Nokia X7-00 phones, and in essence made an improvement to the X6-00 phone. At the moment, the main drawback of this phone is its high price, slight software problems and the emerging competition from other players. However, the software challenges that this phone shows are bound to reduce with the coming updates on Symbian Anna. One thing though, for this phone to appear different from its predecessors, it requires improvements on the camera appearance and the speaker quality. As for the pricing, it needs to be lowered to be less than that of the flagship N8 series.

As much as the processor capacity of a phone is an important aspect, the recent rivalry of phone manufacturers over the most powered processors has led to the disregard of other equally important aspects of a phone. This emphasis on the processors was initiated by the release of Nexus One by Google in 2010, and since then, anything short of 1GHz has not been considered among the market leaders. Therefore, HTC Sensation cannot be blamed for taking this trend, as this is the only way of remaining relevant in the current competitive market.
Apart from the processor speed, one notable thing about the hardware of this phone is the huge 4 inch plus display. With a 960×540 pixels resolution on this kind of screen, the icons are crispier and you get more screen content. Even with this, the phone feels quite small and its weight of 148g is not much more than that of iPhone 4. The back cover of this phone is a clear picture of the HTC models, which are usually very difficult to open. The durability of this phone has been enhanced by the Gorilla Glass screen which makes it resistant against scratches. This coupled with the slight cure at the front is a good way of keeping the display intact for long.

HTC Video Review by GSMarena.com:

Considering this is an Android Smartphone, its 1520 mAh is quite average and not fit for the huge screen and high processor speed. Some of the other problems evident with this phone include low battery life and more profoundly, its WiFi reception problems. The reception is highly affected if the hand covers the entire back plate. On a whole, the HTC sensation is very impressive and the few drawbacks should not be a great concern, as no gadget is perfect.
